IRM Assistant Main role
You will be the part of the Information Risk Management (IRM) Group. A large proportion of IRM Group’s work focuses on assisting our audit colleagues. The identification and assessment of technology risks is a fundamental part of the KPMG audit approach.

Main responsibilities
Support audit teams in the following:

  • understanding the accounting and internal control systems affected by the computerized environment
  • determining the effect of the computerized environment on the assessment of overall risk at the account balance and class of transaction level
  • designing and performing appropriate tests of programmed controls
  • identifying performance improvements opportunities that could improve general IT controls over client’s information systems
Successful candidate’s profile
In addition to the general profile, candidates for this position meet the following requirements:
  • university degree in Information Technology or have IT working experience
  • good technical understanding of computer technologies, including, but not limited to:
    • operating systems
    • database management systems
    • network technologies: network equipment, TCP/IP protocol suit, Internet
  • interest in professional self-realization
  • fluency in English, Ukrainian and Russian languages, both written and verbal
  • adaptable to an intensive work environment, involving business travel
The following is also desirable:
  • at least one year of work experience in Information Technologies/IT Audit
  • knowledge of financial audit/accounting
  • certifications on IS security and audit (CISA, CISSP etc.) or IT certifications (by Microsoft®, CISCO®, etc.)
  • knowledge of any accounting package (e.g. SAP R/3, Hyperion, Scala, SUN, 1C, EFAS)
